When Melt was first introduced to the design team it seemed like an easy job, but the challenge was that the hot chocolate industry is dominated by international brands and it’s actually hard to find premium rich hot chocolate. Accordingly Melt’s branding had to be unique and with a premium foreign look. The designers directly saw that like its name Melt the design had to convey the melting sensation and directly communicate to ones senses. The rich chocolate melting background was the base and the product attribute (3 in 1) was placed as a label on a warm cup of hot chocolate reflecting the richness and indulgence experienced with Melt.
